Love is ...

... when you can't get away from her :P

The Ls have been wanting to sleep together every night.
Go figure, as soon as we sell the bunk bed and separate them they want to be together again???

This is how I found them this morning.
Lulu was completely stuck, both arms were pinned down by L's humongous leg.
No wonder L didn't get cold and Lulu never came over.

Sister love!!!

Love is ...

... when he builds you this ...

Almost done ... ready for the girlies!!!

And she does this ...

for him!

A SHNIY Jetta indeed!!!

And if you know my husbands car and how it usually looks and ... (just imagine lots of hockey equipment and long, hot days ...) then you know that only your true love and soul-mate will do such a kind thing for you.

Have a clean and shiny ride to work tomorrow, my love!

Love is ...

... when you learn how to cook brunch with your loved ONE!

L and her J together at cooking class
I asked her what her favorite part of the class was,
L: Being with J!
M: Why did I even ask :)

She was lucky and got to go back to J's house.
On the way back home, after playing for a few hours, she had a complete melt-down, crying for her J and complaining "I never get to see him anymore! What if he forgets me and marries somebody else? waeheaehaehaehaheeeee ... "
No worries my child, he won't forget you ... and if he does then I have no doubt you'll hunt him down and remind him :)

Thanks Jay-Jay for making Ls day so special!
You have a very special (and big) place in my daughter's heart (... and mine too :)!

Love is ...

... when she writes this:

Just a few words to tell you how I appreciate the coming back of your blog -- it's like the jam on Aiden's bread, life is much more flavorful with it!!!

love, good night

me

Note to the author of this lovely note:

I LOVE spicing up your life, my dear Soul-Sister :)

Love is ...

When you let your three year old granddaughter give you a complete make-over with all her favorite, super pink and sparkling make-up articles, needly stored in her Buzz Lightyear Tin Box.

First she shined his head,

then she took x-rays of his teeth
(they had a dentist appointment a few days ago
and Lulu was pretending it was GPs turn now),

then came the make-over.

Yes, this is lipstick she is putting on his eyelids!

Almost done.

Here is to the BEST GP of all times!!!
GM, I sure hope you are reading this!
You missed one of Henry's most memorable moments in his life ;)

Aw, isn't that nice posts! ... but wait ... it gets MUCH BETTER!!

Poor GP's wonderful make-over was rudely interrupted by the nice Policeman knocking on our front door.
He was looking for a bag of stolen goods that some robber had ditched while running from them.
The guy removing the dogs, left by the owners who were evicted by the bank that day, saw the robber hiding behind my garbage cans and called the Police to report it.

Now, since I was in school to assist in Ls class,  I had to call GP (who had tried to remove the pink glitter from his lips and eyebrows quickly but with not much success) to answer the Policeman's questions,
while I removed the Dork from the door, since he thought he should swallow that "bad intruder" at once and whole (my 10 lbs. dog!!!)

It just tops off that meeting with Sam, the Contractor, who kept touching and hugging me, while I just wanted to know how much he'd charge me to fix the messed up paint job on my doors and the kitchen.
Sam was so "sweet" he even blew me a kiss after I had "gently" pushed him out of the door.

If these things keep happening I'll start writing a script for a new TV show
"Desperate Neighbors; Life on Coyote Street"

Holly shit, I thought this city was boring and quiet ... after you see 5 cop cars, 2 undercover cars and about 100 cops running through your yard and up and down the street you change your mind quickly.

Another exciting day in a Stay-At-Home-Mom's day on Coyote Street.

Love is ...

When your 6 year old sister gives you her lucky charm necklace so you can win your first ribbon in swim class today.

Good luck Issie!
Go get them Tiger!!!

L's comment: "Lucy; I really, really hope you'll win that ribbon today.
You have to try very hard because I really, really, REALLY want to go to Fresh Choice tonight to celebrate and eat as much ice cream as I want to, like Papa promised."

Love is ...

When the mailman knocks on your door and delivers THIS ...

A HUGE package full of love!
Chocolate, German Kleenex (don't laugh, they are THE BEST!!! for tears and sniffy noses)
and treats for the Ls.

My baby sister is SIMPLY THE BEST!!!

She sent LOVE covered in chocolate ...
she knows me oh-so-well!

My wonderful sissie had rescheduled her entire 2011 vacation time to come in September, right after baby was supposed to be born.
Well, now the poor thing is stuck with 3 weeks of us with no baby :(
And what does she do?
She offers to watch the Ls so we can go out and play.
She sends us a Gift Certificate for a weekend-get-away without the Ls.

I LOVE MY SISSIE!!!
Du bist echt die Allerbeste!!!

... thank God she sent the Kleenex since I sure needed them after reading this!

Oh and this ...
YUM!!!

for the tears :)

Happy Lulu with her new blow-pens
(it only took me one hour to figure out how they are supposed to work. )

Testing the heavenly stuff right then and there.
 ... of course!

More YUM!!!
BIG YUM!!!

  and YUM

and YUM-YUM

I know all my German friends will totally understand the excitement in my house right now.
For my American friends; just imagine living in a place with no Mac and Cheese, no PB&J, no Big Mac or no dim-sum and sushi ... get it? Yes?
... and then you get it all in a box, delivered and sealed with a big kiss and hug from your baby sister FAR-FAR-AWAY.
Life doesn't get much better!!! Does it?

I love you Jule!!!!

DANKE!!!!

Love is ...

When your 3 year old decides that "I HAVE to make a cake for Lillie before she comes home from school Mama, P-L-E-A-S-E!!!!"

Well of course we had to and thanks to my "pantry-hording-issue" I had just the RIGHT STUFF!

How to make a "LOVE Cake"

Oil the pan

Pour mix in a bowl or pot ... whatever the little baker desires)

add one TBS of oil

 and one egg white

Stir vigorously until your arm gets tired (after 5 seconds)

stir some more with the other arm

TASTE the STUFF ...  "not bad!"

pour in HEART SHAPED pans and taste some more

and taste more ...
FGM, please note the outfit :)

Pose for some pictures because "Mama, will you put this on the blog so everybody can see what a good little sister I am and they all are going to say "awww ... she is so cute" to me?"
... seriously, I'm not making this up ... she DID say that!!!
The Ls are VERY aware of the blog and it's promotional powers :)

Hydrate

Pose some more and make a really silly face

lick the pot until there is ABSOLUTELY nothing left

see your two master pieces after they come out of the oven

Race to school to pick up L and tell her ALL ABOUT your big surprise even though Mama said it's a secret and we won't tell her ...
Come home and start icing and decorating
(we were getting ready for some acrylic painting and the Ls were properly "dressed" for the occasion. Acrylics DON'T come out of clothes so we (well they) paint in the nude ...)

et voila ... THE LOVE CAKE

and ....
EAT it!!!!

So sweet!!!

Seriously, this mix was so disgustingly sweet, not even L would eat it.
Lulu was all over it, especially the frosting, the SWEET, SWEET, SUPER SWEET frosting !!!
Next time we'll stick with auntie Judy's home made frosting ... this stuff was YUCKKKKKKKKKK!!!

After the Lulu attack ...

Fuer Anke :)

and to finish this perfect moment,
sealed with a yummie sister-kiss

Yup, that's what LOVE is!
... until they fight again ...
