This was a first for all of us and a fun one too!!!
After researching the topic for some time, discussing it and L's design we finally came up with the BEST solution ever.
I don't think anybody ever thought of it before but my big-hearted L na-course had nothing more on her mind than the well being of that poor "leprechaun" while being temporarily (because surely we'd set him free after he granted us our wish) in confinement.
So it is with great pride and joy that I present to you:
The Best Leprechaun Trap Ever
L hard at work,

So lets take the "Walk of the Leprechaun"
1) climbing up the hand-made ladder (by L herself!!!)
2) seeing the POT OF GOLD under the rainbow na-course
(please note the little brick road)
and just when he is about to reach the rainbow and the pot of shiny gold,
the hidden trap door will open up, turn into a slide and bring our little fella ....
3) here, right next to his temporary bride,
nice and cozy waiting for him in a soft, green bed, with gold embellished, na-course.
Hand-made pillow and duvet cover and a green bed sheet,
a green leaf for added ambiance and a soft felt-carpet for the little cold-feeties.
Also please note the pictures of his sister, mom and dad on the wall,
hand painted by the Artist L.
In the back corner we have a nice green chair, again embellished with gold and a soft cushion,
a moss side table, again with gold embellished and a little reading material,
because every Leprechaun needs to read "People Magazine"
... unfortunately "Leprechaun Magazine" was all sold out.
We added a little, golden princess shoe, since he surely would like that.
And another pot of "gold" in form of more shoes, since he is a cobbler by profession
See, the thought is, that once he is trapped he just doesn't want to leave.
And why would he, all he wants is right here and more! So surely this one MUST BE THE ONE that works!!! It has to be, right?!
But only time will tell.
It's all set up at L's desk in class and tomorrow morning she'll be racing to class to see if MAYBE she is the lucky one and will catch a Leprechaun.
When asked what she would wish for she said:
"that the Leprechaun helps the poor people in Japan."
Awwww .....that made me almost cry!!!!
She is such a GOOD little girl with the biggest, most loving heart ever!
