Sleep-Over Outcome / Lulu's comment of the day

9:30 AM, the phone rings, it's:

Aunty Michelle : "Lulu wants to talk to you."
Me: "Great" (thinking she'll say "Mama I miss you!")
Lulu: "Hi Mama"
Me: "Hi Love-Bug. I miss you! Want me to come and pick you up?"
Lulu: "NO! Can you pack all my clothes and my back-up-lee and my Anna and bring them over. I want to live here now."
Me: "Ahhh ... O.K.? So you are not coming home then?"
Lulu: "No! Bye!!!"
Michelle: "hahahahahah ... I think she likes it here."
Me: "no kidding, how much candy did you give her? :)
Michelle: 'Oh wait, here she is again, she wants to talk to you again."
Lulu: "Mama?"
Me: "Yes Love"
Lulu: "Can you also bring my bathing suits, for the summer you know and my slippers. Thanks! Bye!"
Me: WHAT?????????????????????????????????

Thanks Aunty Michelle and Uncle Bin. you must have spoiled her rotten!!!!
Apparently she has a second home now.
She came home all pissed off that she had to leave and said "Next time, I AM STAYING THERE!"
L's comment: "Cool! Can I have her room too?"
Me: "NO WAY! That'll be my room then :)

Another FIRST!

NO way!
I can not believe this is happening!
This is my BABY holding her sleep-over bag, ready to leave for her

FIRST SLEEP-OVER
EVER!

And off she goes ...

Body Guard!

When asked by me "Are you sure you can do it, all night without me?"
She replied: "Mama; you'll be fine!"
????

Luckily she is in VERY, VERY good hands and big brother Aiden and big sis Fifi are pampering her like  a little princess.
Aunty Michelle just called (and secretly I hoped Lulu wanted to come home) to tell me that she is JUST SUPER and not having any issues going to sleep without ME ...waaeaeaeaeea ....

My baby is growing up!

I think I am going to have to swaddle the dog or the cat now, bottle feed them and put diapers on them.

This is going wayyy to fast for this Mama! What should I do now?

"Eddie!!! Where are you?? Time for your diapers and bottle .... "

PINK-PINK-PINK

Your Majesty

The Crazy Kid

One is a self proclaimed Vegetarian and eats only pretty foods,
the other one can walk on a field and take a bite out of a grassing cow, right then and there.

One loves everything pink and purple, frills and tulle, Barbie and Princess,
the other one HATES the Pink isle at Target and walks by, covering her eyes with her hands, but will spend hours and hours in the Star Wars or Happy Potter Lego section and requests to wear only black now (preferable out of the boy section).

One LOVES PB&J, the other one HATES it!
One LOVES milk, the other one will only touch it with 1000 marshmallows and chocolate powder in it.

One is as skinny as can be and needs a size 2T underpants so they stay up on her itty bum,
the other one needs a size 8 and has floppers that require new shoes every months or so.

One comes running into your arms and you think it's a butterfly fluttering by, the other one runs at you and you better be prepared to get hit by a freight train ... no mercy!

These two have morphed into such VERY different little people, I sometimes can't believe they have the same parents or gender.

What one likes the other one hates and visa versa and I stand in the middle with a head that is turning from right to left, from pink to black, from Barbie to Lego and from candy to pickles ...

But they do have one thing in common, they are both LOVED very much ... just the way they are.

If I could bake myself two little girls I would make them just like these two.
They drive me nuts every day and I would not want it any other way!

I LOVE my Ls!!!!

Blood will be shed!!!!

First we washed, then we shaved, then we washed again, then we sprayed, then we squirted and we deep-cleaned the entire house. And with that we thought it was over ...

But last night the enemy hit again.
Sneaky little invaders had hidden in hard to reach spots and once more bred like rodents, unstoppable.

So we washed again, we sprayed and searched and combed and today I went and bought $200 worth of chemical war fair to kill these bastards once and for all.

Blood will be shed and believe you me, I am going for all, men, women and MOST of all the little ones and the one in the making.

ALL MUST DIE!!!!!

Victim #1
(shaved and dishonored)

Victim #2
(wet, shaking and very dorky)

Fleas of the world be warned!
There is no place for you in my house, my yard or even my street.

Recap of an AWESOME 7th B-Day

L had a SUPER Star Wars day yesterday and was bouncing and bouncing until she finally crashed, with her BB (Best Buddy) Jay by her side :)

L was pretty excited when she went to bed on Friday.
Boy-oh-boy, birthday excitement was all over the house.
She had sneaked into our bedroom and had fallen asleep in our bed .... PERFECT!!!

We had plenty of time to decorate her room and turn it into a Star Wars shrine :)
We changed the bedding (she had been asking for the Anakin blanket for .... I don't know but I heard it every day at least 10 times "Please Mama? Can I? Can I have it?"

So of course we had to ....

Lulu had chosen this poster to go up on her wall.

And we dressed up the fan/aka Lulu's Prince and now L's buddy Darth :)

A few Star Wars gifts

And the room was filled with balloons in every light saber color ...

We did this all while she was sleeping!

Love it when I can trick them/surprise them like that :)

Na-course the little one got a few "loonies" too. She has her PINK room now and thinks it's FABULOUS!!! ... and YES she said that.
Thanks Jule for letting her watch "Sharpay's movie" :)

The wall is done and came quite in handy for the b-day greetings of the day :)

7 candles and a life light
... CRAZY!!!

Since it was her special day she got to choose her lunch ... Papa Noodles ( aka Itchiban noodles YUKKK!). She LOVES this stuff!!! Thanks Pat for introducing her to that junk!

And off we went to meet some special people at a special place to celebrate a special girl.

Our other families the Gao/Xus and the Marriotts  joined us at Joan's Farm in Livermore, our favorite Pumpkin Patch in the Bay Area.

WHO is that???

It's ME, Aiden!!!
He looked so awesome in all his padding :)

A little ride,

Some fun in the HUGE Corn Maze

A little show for the onlooker.

Icies ... THANKS uncle Chris, they were the HIT!!!

Best pic of the day!!!

Best Friends
... just like their mommies :)

One heart and one soul!

Panning for TREASURES.
(I now have two bags full of wet rocks in my house ... such treasures!!)

This is my attempt to get all 5 in one shot ...

And last but not least the Hay Ride with the whole gang :)

We ended the day with a dinner for 11 :) and drove home tired and full of too much good food.

Thank you guys for making this day so special for L.
She said the best part was having all of you there.
It sure felt like a big family-get-together!

xoxo

And since we never had a chance to finish L's cake yesterday we worked on that today ...

A bit scary looking if you asked me BUT the recipient was quite happy with it :)

And thanks to aunty Judy's awesome frosting it tasted much, much better than in looked.
(besides the black lips we all now have ... )

We chomped it down in-between Star Wars III.

... which BTW I wish I would have NOT let them watch.
L was quite beside herself afterwards. I feel quite bad about letting them watch it!
10 points from Mama and Papa for exposing their kids to age inappropriate materials! :(
It'll be "Fishtronaut" and "Diego" for a while again.

And this concludes yesterdays fun day ... which kind of merge into today.
I took my special day very quietly in (as I always do ... I prefer to hide on this day for some reason).
Pat and the Ls came home from skating and had made breakfast and brought me this ...

And then everybody went down for a little nap and I took off to check on the puppies that I had found on Friday and dropped off at the shelter in hopes that their owner would find them.

I remember how desperate we were when Dork had run away and I wanted to help these guys get home to their mom ASAP.
But then people said that they would be put down, they would be separated, I should have kept them at home and searched for their owner on my own and I had started to feel rather bad about my "good deed".

Prepared to break into the shelter and rip these guys out of the "death-chamber" I raced back to the shelter only to find out that their owner had picked them up 1 1/2 hours after we had dropped them off.

YEAHHHHH!!! I was SOOOO happy! This was the best part of my day!

... and of course the lovely cards, the wonderful supper and the quiet family day we had.

Now we can go back to "normal" and plan our Christmas Family Trip with the GANG :)
We are SOOOO excited guys!!!! Just please no Helicopter Landing Spot!!!
