The BEST day!

From being showers with home made gifts, a sparkling clean car and lots of hugs and kisses to hanging out with our chinese part of the family :), today was just a wonderful day!

We had the pleasure of spending this sunny afternoon in our weekend casa (aka aunty Michelle's house :) and everybody had a blast!

The kids were happily splashing in the pool, the moms spent some time reading, lounging and watching the dads fix the pool heater and then aunty Michelle made one of her famous, super delicious dishes.

We left with happy and TIRED kids in the car and with quite a bit of RR back in our reserves for the upcoming week.

Some days are good others are PERFECT!

Happy Mama's Day!

And while I look at the wonderful presents they MADE for me I get a wee bit sad, because I know in a few years from now it's not going to be like this anymore.
Add 20 more years and you'll get a phone call and a card ... but my bed is not going to be invaded at 6:00 AM!!! by little people, excitedly jumping up and down, not being able to wait until you open THEIR creation and bursting with happiness and energy.

I will miss these mornings!!! I already do!

So for today I will shut off my computer.
I will enjoy and soak up every little bit of L time I can get and store it in my heart for 20 years from now.
