Life is good when you are 4!

So yesterday was the BIG 04 for our little Lulu,
and what a fun day we had!

All pooped from the long and crazy weekend, we decided to stay put for the morning and let the Ls just have a quiet morning with the new b-day gifts and a yummy pancake breakfast.

DANKE OMI!!!!
Du bist ja TOTAL verrückt!

Omi from Germany went a wee bit overboard!!!
Chocolate anybody?

Thank You GM and GP for the Rapunzel Tower.
As I predicted,
she LOVES it!!!

The Ls just hanging and playing.

Danke Omi!!!
Die Post ist klasse und der totale Hit!!!
Wir haben schon fast keine Briefmarken mehr :)

My mom sent a pretend-play-post-office-set.
I used to have the same when I was little and I still enjoy playing with it like I used to.
... and so did the rest of the CZ clan ;)

Please note Pat's address, Hawaii???
Wish you were here?
Ha-Ha- ... very funny!!!

5:00 pm
Traditional B-Day Dinner outing to the
Spaghetti Factory

Auntie Michelle, check out what L is wearing!
She looked so pretty in it!!!
THANK YOU!!!

A Princess-worthy hand-wave to the crowed ;)

ups ... Princess fell asleep within minutes of us leaving the house.
Turning 4 makes TIRED!!!

Here comes the "Bride"

Lucky us, we got a table in the Train Wagon.

The little Lady was serenaded by the entire waiter team.

 Papa and his girls.

The b-day Bride in her dream/wish dress!

Runaway Bride!

The PERFECT DAY ended with a b-day serenade by GP via Skype to his little girl ... as loud as he could sing and Lulu told him proudly about her whole day.

Today everybody went back to "normal" and I now have a 4 year old running around and no more 3 year old  :(

Pat and I may have gotten a bit sentimental after the Ls went to sleep.
Our baby is growing up and there is nothing we can do about it.

It's so wonderful to watch them grow up and turn into these amazing people but sometimes I wish I could turn back time and just have one more day holding them in my arms, smelling their little baby heads, watching them sleep, feel their little fingers around my finger, listen to their little baby breaths and just having them be my baby for one more day.

If I could turn back time ...

(just imagine me at the High School Graduation ... I can't even deal with them turning 4).
