A Day BETTER than Christmas itself !!!

I had started writing this post on Wednesday night but never finished it. Now a few days later I am finally able to finish this post ... wow it's been a BUSY few days! SO if/when you are reading this ...pretend it's Wednesday night right now :)

3 Reasons to be EXTREMELY, super-di-duper-extra happy on a regular Wednesday in December

1) Wake up and receive an email from Santa himself ... WOW!!!

How cool!!! He really, really knows my name!

2) Participate in the highly anticipated recital of Lulu's ballet group. What a JOY!!!!

3) Finish supper, hear a knock on the door, open the door (thinking your Papa is coming home) to see the "Old Man" from the North show up VERY unexpectedly and just get the surprise of your life.

I don't think all the toys of this world combined could have made these two little girls any happier. I haven't seen them smiling and bouncing like this in a VERY long time!

Trick well played Mama, Papa and Grandpa!!! We did SUPER-EXTRA-VERY well!

It was so hard to keep this surprise visit, by their favorite person, from the Ls and we slipped quite a few times.
Luckily they didn't catch it and we made it through two weeks of planning and hiding the BIG surprise without spoiling it.

seeing your two granddaughters speechless, 

staring at you with wide-open eyes, 

completely disbelieving that you are truly walking into their house on an ordinary Wednesday night, just before bed-time
