She served us well! And as predicted, we were stuffed and regretting the overindulgence of her tasty gifts shortly after we had finished supper.
L proclaimed it was the best dinner ever and Lulu, while snacking on her choice of supper - Pretzels, said she liked it too (I guess these pretzels were REALLY god).
Now, at 10:00 pm we have cleaned the kitchen (for the 20. time today), put Saint Bertha back into the freezer for safekeeping of her holy body[parts] and Pat and I are fighting the Turkey coma as strongly as we can (but I fear we are going down quickly).

In-between the cooking we didn't do much, except for hanging out with our jet-leg fighting Papa, taking Ed, the floating poultry turkey-herd dog, for a much needed walk in the wonderful sunlight of this wonderful afternoon on this wonderful family day and crafted some delish Ginger-babes ...
The Ls making their Nativity Sticker Scenes
(L "ordered" these in bulk from Oriental Trading ... she INSISTED that we
"really, really need them Mama, really!"

Lulu's SWEET Ginger Baby
Then St. Bertha came back from her Spa Day,
looking mighty good after her "heated oven treatment"
I added some German goodness to the table,
in form of dumplings and red cabbage
We said Grace and combined were thankful for being able to spend this holiday together as a family.
... and then we ate until ...
... we couldn't anymore
Oh yeah ... and then it got crazy out-of-control!!!
Pat and the Ls went down on the dance[kitchen] floor and
"got-it-on-baby"
The nightly dancing performance turned into a family disco night.
We will, we will ROCK you!!
Crazy-Hair L doing the Robot
It's not a party until L takes her clothes off!!!
Ed rocking out too of course!
This was the CZ Thanksgiving Celebration.
Since neither Pat nor I are Americans we are not too much into this holiday (sorry!!!) but instead we celebrated us being back together and Pat being able to fill his belly with poor Saint Bertha.
Next year I will veto the Turkey thing ... a nice pasta dish will work just as fine but I won't tell Pat about it until next Thanksgiving :)
I am now ready to let the Turkey coma take me to a nice and hopefully warmer [it's COLD!!!! outside] place.
Honorable Mention of the Day
We all missed our Boo-Boo VERY much today!
It was our first Thanksgiving without my Willie-boy and he was sorely missed!!!
When Ed was happily picking up the "accidentally" dropped Bertha pieces from the floor I had flash backs of Will being all over Turkey Day food scraps. It must have been his favorite day of the year besides his Cheeseburger b-day parties.
I hope you got lots of treats today at heavenly doggy beach, my little, sweet, always tail wagging Forever-Dog! We all miss you VERY much. L was talking about you all day and kept saying that you are still part of our family. How right she is!!! You are and will always be.
Message from Meow for you:
"Miss you my friend! Wish you were here!"
Message from Ed for you:
"Thanks for letting me use your big, soft, red bed big bro and for showing me in spirit how to drive them bonkers ... I think it's working :)"
We miss you lots!
Love, your mama & papa, your Ls,
Meow, Zoe and your new baby brother Eddie
