YEAHHHH!!!!
We are D-O-N-E!!!
Summer here we come and as the good Weather God has it, it even looks and feels like summer here now too (half way through June it was about time for temperatures to go above 68F!!!).
L walked, pretty as the sunshine itself, to school this morning, with home made gifts and Daisies on hand. It wasn't a uniform day so she got to wear her new summer outfit ...
I had promised her the "flower power" hair style that she has been asking about ...
And na-course, the little one had to have flowers too ;)
She is finally smiling again and she ALMOST has her voice back.
Today was the first day of no fever and almost no tears. She still sounds awful (she sounds like she smokes about 3 packs a day ;) but it's getting better and secretly Pat and I LOVE her itty, raspy voice ... it sounds so darn cute ;)
Oh and here is our wonderful Crossing Guard receiving his flowers and card ;)
He said nobody had ever done something like that for him ... I thought that was rather sad but I was so glad we had him on our "honor list" ;)
Waiting for the "last school bell of the year".
Showing off her cool certificate :)
We celebrated by meeting Pat for lunch at KT. Since L was in school she hasn't been able to go and have lunch with Papa for some time. This was the first thing she wanted to do after she got her " freedom back".
Then we went on a crazy spending spree to "Wamba" and L got to choose a little graduation gift since her report card had nothing but "excellent" on it.
And she chose ... tada ...
a Harry Potter Lego set
We ended the day with a stop at Fresh Choice and frozen yoghurt desert at Orange Tree.
And so it begins ... sumer-crazy-fun-lazy-time :)
.... ahhhhhh, we have a First Grader!!!!
