On our way to school we pass a house every day that has ONE pink deco flamingo in the front yard and the Ls are just so upset about it.
In the movie there were two but then they were separated and the lonely flamingo is SO SAD!!!
... at the end of the movie they get him a new partner and it's all god.
So guess what I had to order tonight ...
The Ls decided to "Elf" (remember from last year) the people down the street, sneak in their front yard at night and add a second flamingo.
Fine, why not ... what a sweet idea (I have to admit I don't like seeing that poor guy all alone either).
So onto Amazon I went 2 for $7.49 ... BUT I only need one!
What now?
If I order one set, we'll have one lonely flamingo left over and then this guy will be all sad and lonely.
The Ls will never let me hear the end of it.
Lulu will cray all day: "Oh that poor demingo mama. He needs his flamily!"
So I had to order TWO sets, so I can have TWO PAIRS of flamingos and not one flamingo lonely in the garage. But one lonely flamingo plus TWO PAIRS make 5!!!
So the next time you come for a visit make sure you'll comment on the happy flamingo "threesome" in my front yard as well as the one down the street.
This should go down as "two good deeds of the season".
P.S. Pat just gave me a BLANK stare when we read this and then shook his head and walked away ...
WHAT???
Can't leave that poor demingo all alone now, can I?
