Since last year, April 1st is a new prank tradition in our house and oh what fun we (ehem... I mean I) had today!!! Let me count thy ways ...
There was ...
The HIT LIST
(written in German, in case the victims would find it and try to read the plan)
The deodorant-meets-cream-cheese scenario
The saran wrapped shampoo bottle
(nicely hidden under the cap so when the victim would try to use
it nothing would come out, irregardless how hard he'd shake it)
it nothing would come out, irregardless how hard he'd shake it)
The frozen car keys
The "No Bradery" sign for Pat's phone invented and created by my junior prankster L
(I am so PROUD of her!!!)
THE BREAKFAST!!!
Eggs Sunny Side Up
(peach and natural yogurt)
Cereal and milk, nicely frozen over night, topped off with some more milk
and it looked like regular cereal.
OJ with a straw ... COOL,
OJ with a straw ... COOL,
except the straws had holes and didn't work.
The peanut butter covered door knob and car door handle.
The cotton stuffed toes of the shoes, so the shoes suddenly don't fit anymore
(works VERY well on victims 6 and younger!!!)
L and Lulu trying to get their shoes on ...
still trying ...
What is it???
ahhhh ... cotton ... funny Mama, VERY funny!
The part where we told L that you wear your PJ's to school on April Fools Day
and she totally believed it until ...
... we got to school and I told her "April Fools".
Luckily Mama had her uniform hidden in her schoolbag and we changed quickly in the bathroom ...
(I also took her to ice cream after school to make up for it since I did feel a bit bad about this one!)
The cockroach in the pencil box.
The hand soap colored with food coloring
(that one didn't work ... we thought hands would turn and STAY green but nope ... )
The moving of Pat's car at work from the parking spot where he left it,
to another parking lot a wee bit further away ...
The DINNER
Baked rats and green pasta ... YUMM!!!
Oh ... it looked just disgusting!!!
The pee-juice
(just water with yellow food coloring)
Auntie Michelle's green and pink pasta carabonara (YUMMM!!!)
AND the SPONGE cake ... literally!!!
YUMMM!!! Let's dig in!
Lulu: "FROSTING!!!"
What is it???
I can't cut it???
Let's try harder ... hammer it Fifi!!!
Ahhhh ... SPONGE-cake!!! So funny!
... the VERY TIRED victims after a LONG day of pranks and being pranked.
What a FUN day!!!
And now it's time for bed ... pranking makes VERY tired! (... and Stella Artois too :)
Thank God I only have to come up with so much mischief once a year, I don't know how these trouble makes do it all year long? This stuff is hard!!!!
So good night world and have a good weekend!
L has her FIRST soccer game tomorrow. We are soooo excited!
