Necklac-Lee: Another Jay Day AND night!!!

Yeahhh
... last night was sleep-over-night for the Ls and Jay.
Big L was in heaven and couldn't get close enough to the Love of her Life. Poor Jay was scrunched in the corner of the bed trying to get some air while L was dreamingly snuggling up to him closer and Closer and CLOSER!!!

This morning at 7:00 AM I woke up because I thought a door was slamming ... luckily it was just the kids jumping off the bunk bed onto the air mattress pretending it was a pool!!!! AHHHHH .... my life just flashed bye and I thought I'd have to drive Jay to the ER because of multiple broken bones ... OMG!!! The call to Judy and Chris would have been so "enjoyable" ...
What were they thinking ... wait a minute, they don't think, they are 5 and 6 and absolutely invincible.

They survived (I was ready for my first drink or some Valium, either one would have been fine) and worked up a good appetite. Jay ate 3 large German pancakes and L had 2.
After breakfast it was PLAY TIME ... ALL DAY.
We got our craft-on and worked on a few little projects. I had planned twice as much but we ran out of time and steam half way through.

We went to the park in the afternoon and the kids had super lots of fun until Jay had a run-in with a 10 year old who ruffed him up a bit. L came SCREAMING to us (we thought somebody had abducted him or she had lost an arm ... thats how upset she was). The boy was actually a nice kid and had not meant to hurt or scare Jay ... just a boy-misunderstanding and he apologized several times and came to check on him. I am not sure how Judy kept her cool because I was ready to rip his little head off at first. As Lulu said "don't touch my Jay. Thats my Jay, don't scare him like that bad boy!!!"
... I think the Ls are a wee bit possessive of him. :):):)

L fell apart when Jay had to leave and asleep within seconds of going to bed. I am sure she is dreaming of their dream wedding, the camp car they will drive and the 8 kids she is planning on having with him . Thankfully she is seeking out a career as hot-dog-seller-teacher ... which should support it all and more, especially if they live here in California :)

We had the BEST day today and the kids were wonderful as always. Believe it or not, L and J can be together for 24 hours straight and not have one fight. It's pretty amazing how well they get along. I think our entire house is Jay-crazy!!!! L said tonight "but Mama I can not sleep without my Jay in my bed." ... she is 5, this comment should still be o.k., right? :)

Thanks little man for spending the night and day with us .... come back soon, we miss you already!!!!

So we built one ....
