It's been a few weeks (or more) since I had posted the Year of Living Generously . I knew myself well when I said we couldn't do it every week ... now, months later we are finally continuing this living generously "thing" and are giving back a little.
Over the last few months we have made, collected and created lots of pictures for "the old people" as L calls them.
"Color a Smile" is a wonderful charity that distributes children's pictures to Senior Homes, Meals on Wheels, Convalescence Homes and so on.
We finally got our first package ready and off it goes to bring a little color to Grandmas and Grandpas all over the US. The Ls put lots of thought into these pics and always had something special in mind when they created them.
It's quite a big package and I am very proud of my little generous artists.
Good job girlies!!!
... next deed will be bringing Hot Dogs to the "Fighter Fighters". We'll do it while Julia is still here so she can enjoy the benefits (that being the Fire Fighters in uniform.)
... after all she is my sister :)
