And another garden-update from the CZs house.
We harvested the last broccoli and said good-bye to the plants until fall when we will start a new batch of L's favorite veggie.
Now we are on to growing more peas since the Ls discovered their love for eating them fresh of the vine. We are "patiently" waiting for the tomatoes to turn read so they can accompany my fresh basil and some mozarella in a nice sauce of olive oil, balsamico, some pepper and salt and a nice loaf of fresh baguette ... yummmm!!!!!

The snails have returned again and ate half of my kohlrabi ... grrrrrr ....
It's war again and this time I will know no mercy!!!
It's time for the ... BEER!!!

Apparently they like to drown themselves in it so I will strategically place bowls full of it below their favorite veggies ... lets see what they say).
If Ed comes in stinking like an alcoholic, stumbling all through the house, hick-upping and howling we know why ...

My Willie Tree is full with Apples. Last year we had three itty, sour, dry and hard apples.
This year the branches are heavy with fruit. I still visit him every day ... my little man's spirit is all around this tree, you can feel him and hear how his waggy tail makes the charms sing when I come to see him :)
I miss my Willie-Boy!!!! ...still!!!
