Flopsy Buddy

The Ls and I took Buddy for a nice walk today.

He has been shredding everything in his path, trying to eat my leg every time I walk past him and he is VERY MUCH in LOVE with his bed. 

Clearly the boy needed more exercise to calm down the young man's energy and hormones :)

His fur is very thick. 

The vet thinks he may have so called "double fur" so he gets hot fast.

When we got to the play ground he just plopped down and was DONE!

I LOVE how his little legs just plop down ... plumbs and he is down :)

So darn cute!

Walking on a leash is still a very foreign concept for him.
He pulls to the front, stops or pulls back and I usually trip every second step over his leash ... but we are getting there ... some day :P

L is convinced Buddy is holy.
She sais he has a cross on his back (the dark line) and it's because he was sent to us to take Dorkie's place.

Yes, he is definitely an angel, sometimes in disguise, especially after his nap or when he wakes up in the morning and has enough energy to turn into a little crazy boy,  but then you look into his sweet, sweet, fluffy face and he wants to lick you all over and you just can't be mad and just snuggle him.

He can sit, stay, down and give "high five" for treats (na course!) and he is kind of listening when we call him.
If I call "Buddy, will you come or not?" he comes  ... or not ... mostly not :P

He is a very smart little Buddy and it doesn't take him much to learn new tricks but telling him to not turn my kitchen into a swimming pool is still an issue. This boy LOVES to splash his water ALL OVER, ALL DAY.
It's awesome, I clean it, he splashes, I clean it, he splashes .... now add the saw dust from Pat's contraction zone and you have yourself a very muddy Buddy!

We LOVE that boy and I think my Dorkie would have really liked him too.
I miss Dorkie, especially when we go the "usual route" that he loved so much and peed on every, single inch of that walk.

Buddy also has the sweet eyes of my Willie-boy.
Just this cute, loving face. It just melt you :)

I see a lot of both in him ... he is just perfect for us, in every single way.

I am so glad this little guy fell into our laps (thanks to two VERY sweet friends of ours :)
