Vacation here we come ... location ...

For the next 8 days we'll be enjoying the amazing, breathtaking and long dreamed about location of 

... our kitchen!!!

After working 16-18 hours days at work for 4 weeks straight my wonderful husband finally gets a MUCH NEEDED break from KT and gets to spend his vacation week with me, his lovely wife and this sweet, "little" project of ours :)

This is the look tonight ... ready for demolition day tomorrow.

Kitchen Reno Day 1

This is whats waiting outside right now, ready to be installed and to beautify our crappy, small and VERY old kitchen.

This almost brand new kitchen is a VERY kind donation of our Hanzie friends who are upgrading their kitchen and (luckily for us) had a spare kitchen to hand down to us.


How lucky are we???!!!

And the VERY BEST part of doing your own kitchen remodel is that you don't have to take showers, butt-naked, in the backyard :)

And so the madness begins.
THANK GOD we have a healthy puppy and two cranky Ls to keep us busy in case the remodel should be too boring :)
