Slippers, socks, dog toys, kids toys, sticks, furniture but this time he "outdid" himself!
His latest victim was our one and only, treasured and beloved ...
Woody himself.
Oh boy :( ... Tears were flowing, angry looks flew his way ... maybe even some angry words.
First I thought "no biggie, we'll get a new one" but then it dawned on me ...
THIS IS WOODY! We can't replace him!!!!

Remember when Andy tore his arm? The agony, the worry, the hopelessness he felt.
We could not make him go through that again. NO WAY!!! (obviously this family is obsessed with Toy Story). We had to fix him!

So on we went to set up the OR. We got everything sterilized and prepped the patient, (I thought about giving Woody a few shots of Crown Royal since we had just run out of demerol ... :).
I managed to shoot a few pics while doing this very dangerous and risky operation. I wanted to show him his before and after shots in case he would lose his memory. Here are the pics of the procedure ...
All prepped
The chewed off Sheriff Star
(this is an instant demotion to Deputy)
The boot :(
BAD-BAD DOG!!!
Missing spur ... Bullseye will love that!!!
OP in progress,
The removal of the star ...
One VERY sad L
The Boot-Make-Over
Metal-Cap Cowboy Boots ...
it doesn't get any better than that!!!
We added the bling to both boots to make them match of course.
Look at his smile!
Wait until Buzz sees this. He is going to throw himself in front of Odie begging him to maul him down just to get himself a pair of them shiny booties too.
Add the name again
In the OR
Woody #1 (big L's Woody) was at Woody's bed site the whole time.
L found these at "Wamba" (as she calls Walmart).
These are perfecto mundo Sheriff-quality star buttons.
So shiny, it gives him instant authority .
... I may sew one on my shirt too.
Maybe that will earn me some respect in this house ...

And then they lived happily ever after ...
