My flippin-COOL Omi

After raving over Great Grandma over and over it seems just fitting that my baby bother, the newly graduated and VERY accomplished photographer has sent me two pics of my  very own Omi.

This is my mom's mom and my one and only Omi (Grandma), Sigrid Schaefer.
She is a youthful 76 and still as sporty and fashionable as she has always been.

She and Great Grandma both came and stayed with us when L was 2. They were like two peas in a pod and even they don't speak the same language they chatted for 4 weeks straight, never stopped!!! At the end they knew more about each other than we ever will. They became best friends in a instant and to this day keep talking about the wonderful time they had.

So this one is for you Omi.  Ich habe Dich lieb!!!
